Insert column breaks

When editing a document that has a multi-column layout, you can specify where a new column should start.

To insert a column break at the current cursor position,

  1. tap the Insert object icon at the top toolbar to open the new object insertion panel,
  2. switch to the Other tab tab,
  3. select the Break icon Break option,
  4. choose the Column BreakColumn Break option.

To remove the added column break, place the cursor at the beginning of the text that followed it and press the Backspace key key on the on-screen keyboard.
