I want to integrate your open-source product into my commercial application. Do I need to make my app’s code public?

If you use our open-source products under the AGPL v3 license, and your application is distributed or made available over a network (SaaS model), you must make the source code of the modified version and any derivative work available under AGPL v3.

If you do not want to open your source code, you should consider obtaining a commercial license, which allows integration into proprietary products without the obligation to disclose your code.

Can I have support if I use one of your open-source products?

Community products do not include guaranteed technical support or SLAs.

You can:

• Use community documentation
• Ask questions in community forums
• Access publicly available resources

If you require professional support, updates, security guarantees, or SLA, you should purchase a commercial subscription.

Can I have more than 20 simultaneous connections for Docs Community?

No. The Community edition is limited to 20 simultaneous document editing connections.

If you need more concurrent users, higher performance, clustering, or scalability options, you should use the commercial edition.

What are the restrictions of AGPL v3 if I want to use your editors in my product?

Under AGPL v3:

• If you modify the software, you must publish the modified source code.
• If users interact with the software over a network, they must have access to the source code.
• You need to keep the branding.
• Derivative works must also be licensed under AGPL v3.
• You cannot impose additional restrictions beyond the license terms.

If your product is proprietary and you do not want to disclose source code, a commercial license is required.

Can I white-label or remove branding in the Community version?

No. The Community version must retain original branding and copyright notices.

White-labeling and branding removal are available only under commercial licensing terms.

What are the limitations of your Community products?

Community editions typically include the following limitations:

• 20 simultaneous connections (Docs Community)
• No clustering or enterprise scalability
• No official SLA or guaranteed support
• No mobile version
• Limited enterprise security features
• No advanced administrative tools
• No white-labeling
• No enterprise integrations (depending on product)

Community editions are intended for testing, personal use, development, and small-scale deployments. For production environments and commercial distribution, a commercial license is recommended.
