QR Code Generator: Creating QR codes

In ONLYOFFICE Docs, you can generate your own QR codes, modify them and insert them into your files using the QR Code Generator plugin.

Starting with ONLYOFFICE Docs 8.2, no plugins come with the editors by default. The plugins shall be installed via Plugin Manager.

1. Go to the Plugins tab. Click the Background plugins icon and activate the QR Code Generator plugin.
2. Right-click on the selected text/link.
3. Select the Insert QR option from the context menu.
4. Click the Set QR Color radio button and select the required color in the color picker.
5. Click the Set Background Color radio button and select the required color in the color picker.
6. Set QR width and height if necessary.
7. Click the Insert QR button.

To modify the inserted QR:

1. Right-click on the inserted QR and select QR Settings from the context menu.
2. Click the Set QR Color radio button and change the color in the color picker.
3. Click the Set Background Color radio button and change the color in the color picker.
4. Set QR width and height if necessary.
5. Click the Insert QR button.

The QR Code Generator plugin is independent of internet connectivity. By leveraging local libraries, it's possible to add QR codes without reliance on external servers. This ensures privacy, security, and uninterrupted workflow regardless of network availability.
