Using the Admin Panel for ONLYOFFICE Docs Cloud

The ONLYOFFICE Docs Cloud admin panel provides administrators with a comprehensive interface to monitor user activity, manage tenant configurations, and preview document editing capabilities. This intuitive panel is designed to simplify administrative tasks and ensure seamless document collaboration within the cloud environment.

To access the admin panel:

  1. Go to the page: docscloud.onlyoffice.com
  2. Enter your email address used for registering of your ONLYOFFICE Docs Cloud.
  3. Click Send.
  4. Check your Inbox and follow the link specified in the received email to access the Admin Panel.

Admin Panel: Overview

Upon accessing the admin panel, administrators can navigate through three primary tabs: Statistics, Settings, and Preview. Each tab serves a distinct purpose and helps manage different aspects of the ONLYOFFICE Docs Cloud environment.

Statistics

The Statistics tab provides an overview of essential system metrics, offering valuable insights into document usage and user activity. At the top of the section, administrators can find and copy the following critical information:

  • Document server address - the unique URL that identifies the document server instance.
  • Authorization header - a key used for secure authentication between the server and client applications.
  • Document server secret - a security credential that can be revealed or hidden using the eye icon to prevent unauthorized access.

Additionally, the Statistics tab displays important system details such as:

  • Build - the currently installed version of ONLYOFFICE Docs Cloud.
  • License - the duration of the active license, including the expiration date.
  • Users limit - the maximum number of users permitted to access the document editors and live viewers concurrently.

Administrators can also track user activity over the past 30 days, including:

  • The number of active user connections.
  • A breakdown of internal and external user connections.
  • The remaining available user slots for both the document editors and live viewer.
Settings

The Settings tab allows administrators to configure and customize their tenant’s environment. The available tenant settings include:

  • Tenant name - the designated name of the organization or workspace.
  • Authorization header - the key required for secure API communication.
  • Document Server Secret - a security credential used for authentication.
  • Anonymous users support - this option determines whether anonymous users can access documents. Selecting yes enables this feature, while selecting no disables it.

After making any changes to the settings, click the Save button to apply and store the modifications.

Preview

The Preview tab provides administrators with a real-time demonstration of how the document editors will function for end-users. This feature is useful for verifying user experience and ensuring that the editing interface operates smoothly before deployment.

By utilizing the admin panel’s capabilities, administrators can effectively manage their ONLYOFFICE Docs Cloud environment, monitor user activity, and optimize system settings for a seamless document collaboration experience.
