Uninstalling default plugins from the Desktop Editors

Uninstall default plugins from the desktop editors

To remove default plugins, the following actions need to be done:

  1. Close the application.
  2. Go to the folder with the plugin code in the ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors folder depending on the operating system:

    • For Linux - /opt/onlyoffice/desktopeditors/editors/sdkjs-plugins/.
    • For Windows - %ProgramFiles%\ONLYOFFICE\DesktopEditors\editors\sdkjs-plugins\.

  3. Remove the plugin folder. Note that the folder name corresponds to the plugin GUID. For example, remove the {7327FC95-16DA-41D9-9AF2-0E7F449F6800} folder for plugin-translator. To easily find the necessary GUID, see the table below.
  4. Run the application again. The plugin will be deleted from editors.
If you update ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors, removed plugins will be available again, and you’ll need to remove them once again.
