Adjusting Temperature levels
Define or update the default temperature levels used to categorise your potential customers and navigate the contact list more easily. Follow the instructions below.
The default temperature levels offered within the CRM module are cold, warm, and hot and indicate the contacts' likelihood of purchasing your product. You can edit them by adding a description to each level and specifying their meaning, or delete them all and create your own. The instructions below provide further detail.
Quick Start
To add your own temperature levels, follow the steps below:
- Sign in to your portal using your login details.
- Click CRM on the start page.
- Click Settings in the left-side panel, select Contact settings, and click Contact Temperature Levels.
- Click the New temperature level button.
- A new window containing the required form you need to fill out. Select a color for your new temperature level, enter a title, add a description so that colleagues can identify which contacts should be assigned to this level, and click the Save button.
The newly created temperature level will be added to the list. You can reorder existing temperature levels by dragging them.

How to edit or delete a temperature level?
To edit or delete a temperature level, click the Settings option, then choose the Contact settings section and click the Temperature levels item. Find the required temperature level, click the
icon next to it, and choose the Edit temperature level or Delete temperature level option.
Please note that that a temperature level can only be edited or deleted if no contacts have been assigned to it. Once a contact has been assigned to the level, the temperature level can no longer be edited or deleted.
How to more easily navigate through the contact list using the temperature level?
If most of your contacts are assigned to a certain temperature level, it is more efficient to navigate your contacts by sorting them by temperature level. To do this, click the Contacts option at the left-side panel within the CRM module and select Temperature Level from the Sort by list in the right upper corner.
You can also use the filter bar by clicking the plus icon, selecting the Temperature level option from the list, and then choosing one of the available levels:
- after selecting Cold, all contacts with the cold temperature level assigned will be displayed;
- after selecting Warm, all contacts with the warm temperature level assigned will be displayed;
- after selecting Hot, all contacts with the hot temperature level assigned will be displayed.
How to change the current temperature level?
Click the Contacts option at the left-side panel within the CRM module, find and click the needed contact in the list to open it. You will see its current level next to the photo. You can change the current temperature level by dragging the indicator to the right or left and assigning the contact to another level in this way.
You can change the temperature level for several somehow connected contacts at once. For example, if you want to change the temperature level for a company, you'll be offered to change the temperature levels for all the company employees represented in your contact list. You can apply this function by clicking the appropriate button, or, "if you do not wish to use this feature or see this message again, choose the Settings option, then open the Temperature levels page and select the Do not show the Linking Contacts dialog again checkbox.
