Integrating ONLYOFFICE with X

Connect your X account to sign in to your portal quickly and to make it easier to find information about people and companies in the CRM module.

To connect X to your portal, Elevated access to the X API is required. It can be requested directly from X via the X Developers Portal.

Obtaining X access keys

To obtain the access keys required to connect X to your portal:

  1. Go to the X Developers Portal.
  2. Sign in to your account.
  3. In the left menu, go to Projects & Apps: Overview and click + Create App.
  4. Enter your application name in the App name field and click Next.
  5. In the Keys & Tokens section, copy the API Key, API Key Secret, and Bearer Token.
  6. Click App settings.
  7. Click Set up in the User authentication settings section.
  8. In the App permissions block, select Read and write and Direct message.
  9. In the Type of App block, select Web App, Automated App or Bot.
  10. In the App info block, enter https://service.onlyoffice.com/oauth2.aspx in the Callback URI / Redirect URL field and specify the URL of the website where X is connected in the Website URL field.
  11. Click Save.
  12. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret, then click Done.

Connecting X to ONLYOFFICE

To connect X to your portal:

  1. Click the Settings Icon icon in the upper-right corner to open Settings.
  2. Select the Integration tab.
  3. Open the Third-Party Services page.
  4. Scroll down to X and click the toggle to enable it.
  5. In the X window that opens, enter the access keys obtained in the previous section.

  6. Click Enable to connect the service.

Once connected, go to your Profile page, find the Login via Social Networks section, select X, and click Connect. In the window that opens, grant access to the ONLYOFFICE application and enter your credentials if required.
