BETADIST Function
The BETADIST function is one of the statistical functions. It is used to return the cumulative beta probability density function.
Syntax
BETADIST(x, alpha, beta, [A], [B])
The BETADIST function has the following arguments:
Argument | Description |
---|---|
x | The value between A and B at which the function should be calculated. |
alpha | The first parameter of the distribution, a numeric value greater than 0. |
beta | The second parameter of the distribution, a numeric value greater than 0. |
A | The lower bound to the interval of x. It is an optional parameter. If it is omitted, the default value of 0 is used. |
B | The upper bound to the interval of x. It is an optional parameter. If it is omitted, the default value of 1 is used. |
