Using the Find and Replace function

Search for certain text

  1. Tap the Tools icon Tools icon in the right corner of the top toolbar.
  2. Tap the Find and Replace menu item to activate the Find panel.

  3. Enter your inquiry into the Search data entry field at the top of the screen.
  4. If necessary, specify search parameters by tapping the Tools icon Search Options icon on the right and enabling the necessary switchers:
    • Case sensitive — is used to find only the occurrences typed in the same case as your inquiry (e.g. if your inquiry is 'Editor' and this option is selected, such words as 'editor' or 'EDITOR' etc. will not be found).
    • Whole words — is used to highlight only whole word matches, ignoring occurrences where the search term appears as part of a longer word.
    • Highlight results — is used to highlight all found occurrences of the required text.
  5. Tap Done in the top right corner of the options menu to apply the settings.
  6. Use arrow buttons to navigate through the found occurrences towards the beginning of the PDF (if you tap the Left arrow button icon) or towards the end of the PDF (if you tap the Right arrow button icon) from the current position.

Replace the found matches

  1. Tap the Tools icon Search Options icon in the top right corner.
  2. Tap the Find and Replace menu item — the Find panel will change.

  3. Enter the replacement text into the Replace data entry field at the top of the screen.
  4. Use arrow buttons to navigate through the found occurrences and tap Replace to replace the currently selected occurrence.
  5. To replace all found occurrences at once, tap the Tools icon Search Options icon in the top right corner and tap Find and Replace All.

Exit the Find mode

To close the Find panel, tap the OK button OK button in the top left corner of the screen.
