Filling out forms

Fill out PDF fillable forms

You can open and fill out fillable forms stored on your device. You can only fill in the fields in the PDF file and then save the form as a DOCX or PDF file.

Creating fillable forms is only available via desktop and online editors. Please refer to Creating and managing form fields for further details.

1. Tap the necessary field or use the and arrow buttons at the top toolbar to navigate between the fields.
2. Fill in all the necessary fields:
   • When you select a text field, the keyboard appears. If the Characters limit setting is enabled for the field, the limit is displayed on the screen.
   • When you select a combo box, choose the necessary option from the list or enter your own data by tapping Enter your option.
   • When you select a dropdown list, choose the necessary option from the list.
   • When you select a check box, tap it to check or uncheck it.
   • When you select a radio button, tap it to select or deselect it.
   • When you select an image field, choose the necessary option: Picture from Library or Picture from URL.
3. Use the undo and redo icons at the top toolbar to reverse or repeat your actions if needed.
4. To clear all fields, tap the Tools icon in the right corner of the top toolbar and choose the Clear All Fields option.
5. Once the form is filled in, tap the Tools icon, choose the Export option, select the necessary format (DOCX or PDF), then select an app or recipient from the iOS share sheet that appears.
6. To print the form, tap the Tools icon and choose the Print option.
