Creating a website contact form
Create a website contact form to attract prospective customers. Once the generated source code is embedded in your website, leads' contact details will be automatically added to your client database. The instructions below explain how.
Creating a website contact form
To create a website contact form, please follow the steps below:
- Sign in to your portal.
- Click CRM on the start page.
- ClickSettings in the left-side panel and select Website Contact Form.
- In the Form Properties section, enter a redirection URL for the page your prospective customer will be directed to after completing the form.
If this is the first time creating a form, zeros will be displayed under the Web Form Key caption. Click the
icon to generate a key, which authenticates the form and prevents spam, fraud, and unauthorised use. - In the Field Selection section, select either Company or Person o depending on your prospective customers' status, then select the fields to be included in the contact form.

In the Access Rights & Tags section, you can restrict access to the added contacts or make them publicly accessible. To grant access to specific users only, click Add user and select the users to grant access to. If you want to make the contacts public, selevct the Allow all CRM users to access this contact checkbox and choose either for reading or for reading/writing.
You can also enter tags to be added to the contacts by clicking Add Tag. - Select the users to be notified when a lead is added, by clicking Add user in the Notify Users section.
- Click Generate Form.
The Form Source Code area will then appear. Before copying, preview the form; if satisfied with the result, copy and paste the code into your website.

Ensure the URL begins with http:// or https://.
Adding custom fields to the Website Contact Form
If you want to add customized fields to the Website Contact Form, go to the CRM module, click Settings, select Other settings, and click User fields. A new user field created here will be displayed in the Field Selection section on the Website Contact Form page.
