Integrating ONLYOFFICE with Bitly

Connect the Bitly service to your portal to get shortened invitation links as well as links to documents shared with external users.

Obtaining Bitly access keys

To obtain the access keys required to connect Bitly to your portal:

  1. Go to the Bitlink Management page.
  2. Sign in to your account.
  3. Generate your Generic Access Token:
    • Follow this link or go to Profile Settings > Generic Access Token.
    • Enter your account password in the field.
    • Click Generate token.
  4. In the window that opens, click Copy to copy the Generic Access Token to the clipboard.

Connecting Bitly to ONLYOFFICE

To connect Bitly to your portal:

  1. Click the Settings Icon icon in the upper-right corner to open Settings.
  2. Select the Integration tab.
  3. Open the Third-Party Services page.
  4. Scroll down to Bitly and click the toggle to enable it.
  5. In the Bitly window that opens, enter the Access Token obtained in the previous section.

  6. Click Enable to connect the service.
