Installing on Linux Mint
Introduction
Desktop Editors is an application that allows you to edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations stored on your computer in offline mode. It’s also possible to connect Desktop Editors to your cloud and edit documents collaboratively.
You can install Desktop Editors by using the installation package depending on the Linux version installed on your computer (download the required package here) or by compiling it for Ubuntu as per the corresponding guide.
The easier and faster option for Linux Mint is by using the Linux Mint Software Store as per the following guide.
Installing ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors on Linux Mint
Using GUI:
- Open Linux Mint Software Store.
- Find ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors using search and click Install.
Using utilities:
Running ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors
To run the Desktop Editors, enter the following command in the terminal:
For Flatpak:
flatpak run org.onlyoffice.desktopeditors
For Snap:
snap run onlyoffice-desktopeditors
or go to Menu > Office > ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors.


Uninstalling ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors
Using GUI:
- Open the Linux Mint menu.
- Right-click the ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors.
- Choose the Uninstall option.
Using Flatpak:
flatpak remove org.onlyoffice.desktopeditors
Using Snap:
snap remove onlyoffice-desktopeditors
