Filling out forms

Filling out a form​

You can open and fill out fillable forms stored on your device. You can only fill in the fields in the PDF file and then download the form as a DOCX or PDF file.

Creating fillable forms is only available via desktop and online editors. Please refer to the Creating and managing form fields article for further details.

To navigate between fields, tap the necessary field directly or use the arrow buttons on the top toolbar:

  • tap Previous field to go to the previous field,
  • tap Next field to go to the next field.

The following field types are supported:

  • Text fields — tap the field to open the keyboard and type your text. If a character limit is set for the field, the remaining character count is displayed on the screen.
  • Combo boxes — tap the field to open the screen where you can choose an option from the list or enter your own data by tapping Enter your option.
  • Dropdown lists — tap the field to open the dropdown and select the necessary option.
  • Checkboxes — tap to check or uncheck the box.
  • Radio buttons — tap the required option to select it.
  • Image fields — tap the field to open the image insertion panel and select one of the following options:

    • Picture from Library — opens the Media Library where you can select an image from your device.

      note

      You must have appropriate permissions on your device Media Library to insert images.

    • Picture from URL — enter the web address of the image you want to insert.

To undo or redo your last action, tap the Undo icon Undo or Redo icon Redo icon in the left corner of the top toolbar.

Once the form is filled in, you can do the following:

  • to export the form, tap the Tools icon Tools icon in the right corner of the top toolbar, choose the Export option and select the necessary format: DOCX or PDF.
  • to print the form, tap the Tools icon Tools icon in the right corner of the top toolbar and choose the Print option.
  • to clear all fields, tap the Tools icon Tools icon in the right corner of the top toolbar and choose the Clear All Fields option. All filled fields including text, images and signatures will be cleared.

To save the form, tap the back arrow in the left corner of the top toolbar. In the dialog that appears, tap Save to save your changes, Don't Save to discard them or Cancel to return to the form.
