Adding or removing rows/columns
Insert rows and columns
You can insert an entire row above the selected one or a column to the left of the selected column.
To insert an entire row:
- Select the whole row above which you want to insert a new one by tapping its heading.
To insert multiple rows, select the same number of rows as you want to insert.
- Tap the Insert top option in the pop-up menu that appears.
The row will shift down and a blank row will be inserted above it.
To insert an entire column:
- Select the whole column to the left of which you want to insert a new one by tapping its heading.
To insert multiple columns, select the same number of columns as you want to insert.
- Tap the Insert left option in the pop-up menu that appears.
A blank column will be inserted to the left of the selected one.
Delete rows and columns
To delete a row or column, select it by tapping its heading and tap the
Delete option in the pop-up menu that appears.
To delete multiple rows or columns at once, expand the selection by dragging the green selection handles
then tap Delete in the pop-up menu.
