<div class="raw-html-embed">	<p>The <b>SHEET</b> function is one of the <a href="../../docs/userguides/spreadsheet_editor/InsertFunction.aspx#information" onclick="onhyperlinkclick(this)">information functions</a>. It is used to return the sheet number of the reference sheet.</p>

	<h5 class="pt8">Syntax</h5>
	<p><b><em>SHEET([value])</em></b></p>
	<p>The <b>SHEET</b> function has the following argument:</p>

			<tr>
				<td><b><em>value</em></b></td>
				<td>The name of a sheet or a reference for which you want the sheet number. It is an optional argument. If <b><em>value</em></b> is omitted, the current sheet number is returned.</td>
			</tr>
