Hardware requirements

CPU

single core 2 GHz or better (dual core or better recommended for production use)
RAM

4 GB or more
HDD

at least 40 GB of free space
SWAP

at least 4 GB, but depends on the host OS. More is better

What counts as a concurrent active user?

A concurrent active user is any user who currently has a document open in the ONLYOFFICE Docs editor, whether actively editing or just viewing. Users who are logged in to the integrated platform but do not have a document open are not counted toward this limit.

Hardware requirements depending on concurrent active users

The hardware requirements for ONLYOFFICE Docs can differ depending on the number of concurrent active users.

less than 100	Single core Intel Sandy Bridge or better processor running at 2.8 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 40 GB of free hard disk drive space
100 - 200	Dual core Intel Sandy Bridge or better processor running at 2.8 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 80 GB of free hard disk drive space
200 - 400	Quad core Intel Sandy Bridge or better processor running at 2.8 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 160 GB of free hard disk drive space
400+	Cluster deployment recommended. Contact ONLYOFFICE for sizing guidance.

For deployments with more than 400 concurrent users, we recommend using external PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ services on dedicated servers, or deploying ONLYOFFICE Docs on Kubernetes. See the Kubernetes deployment guide for details.

Hardware configuration is given for reference use only. The real number of the server users depends on the number, type, and size of the documents that the users work with.
