Stability AI

Stability AI is an artificial intelligence company focused on open-source generative models. It develops AI systems for images, video, audio, and text, best known for the Stable Diffusion models. These tools are designed to be customizable and accessible, letting developers and creators run and adapt them with fewer restrictions.

This is a step-by-step guide on connecting and configuring Stability AI for ONLYOFFICE Docs.

Connecting and configuring Stability AI models​

  1. Go to the AI Tools tab and click Settings. The AI Settings window will open on the AI Models tab.

  2. Click Add Model.

  3. In the Provider list, select Stability AI.

  4. Enter your Stability AI key in the API key field. You can generate one in your Stability AI account, or click the Get API key link.

  5. In the Model list, select one of the Stability AI models:

    • Stable Diffusion is ideal for generating simple and versatile images like drafts, concept art, and quick illustrations. It works well for everyday creative needs with relatively fast results.
    • Stable Image Core creates sharper, more polished visuals, making it perfect for product renders, marketing assets, and social media content where better quality matters.
    • Stable Image Ultra produces high-resolution, highly detailed images suited for print, editorial work, and any project that demands the highest visual fidelity.

  6. Click Add Model again to save the model.

  7. Switch to the Model Assignment tab and select the Stability AI model in the Image generation field.

Stability AI models only generate images. Assign them to the Image generation task, and use a model from another provider as the Default model for the other tasks.
