WEIBULL.DIST Function

The WEIBULL.DIST function is one of the statistical functions. It is used to return the Weibull distribution. Use this distribution in reliability analysis, such as calculating a device's mean time to failure.

Syntax

WEIBULL.DIST(x, alpha, beta, cumulative)

The WEIBULL.DIST function has the following arguments:

Argument Description
x The value between at which the function should be calculated, a numeric value greater than or equal to 0.
alpha The first parameter of the distribution, a numeric value greater than 0.
beta The second parameter of the distribution, a numeric value greater than 0.
cumulative A logical value (TRUE or FALSE) that determines the function form. If it is TRUE, the function returns the cumulative distribution function. If it is FALSE, the function returns the probability density function.
