If you need to split a previously merged cell, select it and use the Unmerge Cells option from the Merge
drop-down list. The data of the merged cell will be displayed in the upper-left cell.
To quickly split all the previously merged cells on the worksheet, select the worksheet using the Ctrl+A key combination or clicking the Select All
button in the upper left corner and use the Unmerge Cells option from the Merge
drop-down list.
