How to update your Enterprise Edition to the latest version?

Control Panel provides you the possibility to access the most recent versions of each online office component and easily update them.

To access Control Panel, sign in to your portal and click the 'Control Panel' link on the Start Page. Alternatively, you can go to the portal 'Settings' and click the 'Control Panel' link on the left-side panel.

Before you start the update process, it is recommended to create your portal data backup to prevent the probability of data loss.

Bare Bones Instructions

  1. In the Control Panel, open the Update page. On this page, you can see the list of all the Enterprise Edition components with the indication of their statuses (Installed), as well as Current and the latest Available versions.

    Once a new version of a certain module becomes available for downloading and installing, the DOWNLOAD button next to it will appear.

    In case updates are available for several components, including Control Panel, it is important to update Control Panel first of all.

  2. Click the DOWNLOAD button. When the downloading process is over, the UPDATE button will appear.
  3. Click the UPDATE button. The warning window will open. Click the OK button to start the new version installation process or CANCEL to be able to create a backup first.
  4. After you click the OK button, your Control Panel and portal will be restarted and become unavailable during this process. It can take up to 5 minutes. Once the installation is complete, the updated component Current and Available versions will be the same on the Update page. You can scroll up, click the GO TO PORTAL button and explore new features of the updated module.
